My Favourite Health and Beauty Channel

I declare myself as a 'couch potato'. I think I watch the tele too much...please come and pull me. Sometimes my children has to scream my name just to make me hear them, and they constantly complained on how I always couldn't respond to them faster. Especially my five year old son, and I blame him for screaming too much...hahaha.

You must think that I am a very bad mother of three. But I on the contrary think that reflecting on ourself and try to find things that we can improve is very hard to do. When I say that I declare my self as a 'couch potato', I believe I am not like what you imagine I would be. I am a lecturer in a well known local University, teaching Chemical Engineering. I went to work from 9am till 5pm. When I reached home everyday, the first thing I do is kiss all my children and ask how their day was.

Now, after that, then I watched the tele. Not that bad, isn't it. Then, in the middle of the late afternoon programmes, my hubby would always call and tell me what he wants to eat for dinner. I couldn't watch much, could I. I had to get up and prepare the dinner. Now I wonder, why do I see myself as couch potato? Maybe because I think I don't give my full attention to my children. When I watch the tele, I was always indulged and engaged throughout the program, especially when I am watching my favourite channel - Discovery Health and Living (now 733 on ASTRO Malaysia).

This channel is very resourceful. I don't only watch it simply for joy, I watched it for the sake of knowledge. It has everything on how to make my life easier, my cooking better, my marriage healthier and full of human stories to make me realise what a joyous life I am living and to always be thankful of what I have. It also has my favourite programme on, Plastic Surgery Before and After. My husband hates it, he just couldn't bear looking at the knives cutting on those people's flesh. Well. close your eyes when they are slicing and sewing those people. I do that all the time...hahaha.
